    BAGHDAD / obelisk: The Wall Street Journal reported that the United States picked up an order issued by an Iranian official to insurgents in Iraq to attack U.S. interests in Baghdad if launched by the Government of President Barack Obama's military offensive in Syria.

    The newspaper quoted unnamed U.S. officials as saying that the U.S. embassy in Baghdad, a potential target. The newspaper as saying that officials did not describe the scope of potential targets referred to.

    Meanwhile, Foreign Ministry issued a warning on Thursday urging American citizens to avoid travel to Iraq, but the "necessity".

    She added the ministry as saying "the embassy's ability to confront situations in which faces U.S. citizens, including the difficulties arrests have become very limited."
