Al-Hayali is looking to strengthen cooperation in Tehran to fight terrorism

Defense Minister Irfan al-Hayali discussed ways to strengthen relations between the two countries, including strengthening efforts to combat terrorism.
The Defense Minister arrived in the Iranian capital Saturday morning at the head of a high-level delegation at the official invitation of the Minister of Defense and the support of the Iranian armed forces, Brigadier General Hussein Dehqan.
The visit is aimed at developing defense cooperation between Iran and Iraq, talks with his Iranian counterpart and senior political and military officials in the Islamic Republic of Iran. The visit also includes the signing of a memorandum of understanding on defense cooperation between Iraq and Iran.
According to the official IRNA news agency, "the Minister of the Interior received upon his arrival at Tehran airport, the official reception ceremony and salute the anonymous martyrs, and a round of talks between the Iranian and Iraqi defense ministers were held at the headquarters of the Iranian Ministry of Defense"
