Bin Laden's son seeks revenge from Saudi Arabia

    Baghdad Mawazine News
Hamza, the son of Osama bin Laden's al-Qaeda leader, issued letters targeting the Saudi royal family.
The 22-year-old is said to be preparing to lead the terrorist organization in an attempt to avenge his father's death.
The Monitor pointed out that Hamza's first video message was launched a year ago in which he praised the only terrorist attacks, in which he called for an uprising in Saudi Arabia.
Hamza claimed that the founding king Abdul Aziz al-Saud was "an agent of Britain" and claimed that the Saudis had betrayed Islam by working with the "crusaders" against the Ottoman caliphate.
Hamza was a prominent figure in several propaganda videos of al Qaeda, even when he was a young boy.
He was filmed calling for terrorist attacks on London, Washington and Paris in a voice message issued by the organization in 2015.
Four of these messages have been recorded in the last two years.
In January, Hamza was placed on the State Department's Terrorism Watch list, dubbed "Global Terrorist," the same classification as his father Osama.
A former FBI agent, who read letters written by Hamza, 22, now declassified, said he appeared to have a motive and was ready to avenge his father.
His son was quoted as saying by the CBS news agency that Bin Laden was considered the possible leader of the terrorist organization. "We are coming and we will take revenge for what you did to my parents and what you did in Iraq and Afghanistan," he told the American people.
The newspaper said that Hamza bin Laden is now leading a process of "revival" of al-Qaeda to take advantage of the setbacks suffered by the organization "Da'ash" terrorist in Iraq and Syria.
"This is all about competing for who is the legitimate leader of the Sunni Muslim world," said Colin Clark, a political scientist and co-member of the International Center for Combating Terrorism.
"Al Qaeda says that Saudi Arabia has been a British puppet for decades, and thus its regime is apostate and does not represent Muslims."
Hamza said Hamza also used the same terms and phrases used by his father.
Osama bin Laden was killed in Abbottabad, Pakistan, on May 2, 2011 by the US Navy. After his death, dozens of letters were sent to his family and senior al-Qaeda members.
Senior intelligence officials claimed that some of them had revealed that he was preparing to give his son to the terrorist group. In one letter, Hamza's father called his son to follow his footsteps
