Transport Minister Kazem Vajan al-Hamami said on Wednesday that we will establish the largest air cargo airport in the Middle East in Babil Province
Al-Hamami said during a press conference in Babil province that "the opening of the river's river project in the governorate," said: "The project is the first of its kind in the province, which will be implemented on the Shatt al-Hillah, which divides the city into two halves."
He added that "the project will be implemented in three stages, where in the first phase, the construction of three stations to stop the boats, the first stop in the resort of Babil tourism and the second station in the hotel Babil tourist and the third station in the casinos health district."
He pointed out that "Babylon will witness the construction of the largest air cargo airport in the area of the Rosary outside in Hilla," noting that "the Ministry of Transport is waiting for the province to allocate residential land for distribution to the staff of the ministry."
