    Justice discusses amnesty amendments with parliamentary committees

    The Minister of Justice said yesterday that cooperation between the government and the parliament is a priority for his ministry to achieve the interests of the country and the citizen. This came during his attendance to parliament to discuss amending the amnesty law.
    The office of Justice Minister Haider al-Zamili said in a statement received by Al-Mada that the latter "discussed with the parliamentary legal committee the recent amendments to the amnesty law."
    He added that "Zamili attended the parliamentary legal committee at the House of Representatives (Monday) and stressed that cooperation between the government and the House of Representatives priorities of the Ministry of Justice to achieve the interests of the country and the citizen."
    He added that "the hearing was attended by the Minister of Defense and National Security Adviser and the head of the prosecution and the representative of the government in parliament," noting that "
