The Central Bank of Iraq's foreign currency sales fell to 118.03 million dollars against 121.38 million dollars on Thursday, a decrease of 3.35 million dollars, according to a statement by the Central Bank of Iraq.
The Central Bank said in a statement that the exchange rate was 1190 dinars per dollar, in the auction held with the participation of 43 banks, and 10 companies for financial transfer.
The bank said in a statement that the sales were the result of the auction scheduled for Monday, explaining that the total sales for the day amounted to 154.63 million dollars.
The amount sold to strengthen bank balances abroad was about $ 116.5 million, while the amount of cash sold was estimated at $ 1.52 million.
