Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Speaker of the Parliament, Osama al-Nijaifi, hosted the British Ambassador to Iraq, Simon Collis, at his office in Baghdad on Wednesday.Nijaifi’s Media Office reported in a statement received by IraqiNews.com on Wednesday ”Both sides discussed the recent political updates on Iraqi and regional arena and the security situation in Iraq in addition to the Syrian crisis.””The meeting tackled the means to promote mutual relations between Iraq and Britain in the favor of common interests,” the statement concluded. \END\
