<p style="text-align: left;"><p style="text-align: left;"><p style="text-align: left; unicode-bidi: embed; direction: ltr;" class="MsoNormal">Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqi parliament Speaker, Osama al-Nijaifi, discussed with the Vice President, Khudhaiyr al-Khuzaye the current political crisis and the security deterioration in Iraq.
A statement by the parliament reported “Nijaifi met Khuzaye on last Friday evening where the latter released a new initiative for resolving the crisis and the Speaker promised him to consider this initiative.”
“The two sides discussed the deteriorated security situation as well, which led to dozens of deaths and injuries in Baghdad and the other provinces, confirming the need to confront the terrorism and the militias,” the statement added.
The inclusive meeting to which head of the Supreme Iraqi Islamic Council, Ammar al-Hakim called, is expected to be held on Saturday at his office in Baghdad to discuss the security and political crises.
