MP for the National Alliance Hilal Sahlani that the meetings of the parliamentary committees with ministries and government agencies, to follow up the implementation of the decisions on the rejection of the referendum of Kurdistan will begin next week.
He said in a press statement today, that "the Presidency of Parliament asked the Prime Minister to strengthen communication with the House of Representatives, and that the relevant parliamentary committees with their ministries and government agencies directly, namely finance, security, defense, integrity, foreign relations, services, economic and legal," adding that "was The agreement with the Prime Minister that the parliamentary committees concerned with the competent government bodies from next week, after the Ashura holiday, and that the ministers concerned are hosted periodically to inform parliament of the implementation of those decisions and all related procedures.
He added that "there is a package of procedural decisions related to the authority of the Prime Minister, Abadi will implement directly, especially related to the deployment of federal forces in Kirkuk and other areas, to be informed the Parliament periodically through the presence of the House of Representatives every month to report the implementation of those Measures ". He said that "the presence of the Prime Minister to the House of Representatives increased the strength of the government's parliamentary position rejecting the draft referendum in all its details, as well as the wisdom of Abadi in dealing with the crisis, which was appreciated by parliament and deputies."
"The government has informed other countries of the decision to close airports and air space and suspend all flights to airports in northern Iraq and the ban will take effect from 6 pm on Friday," he said, noting that " Has suspended flights to these airports since yesterday, and until receiving a new government notice. "
