The Secretary General of the Council of Ministers Mehdi Al-Alak chaired a deliberative meeting to support and develop private transport in the capital Baghdad, including representatives of the Ministries of Planning, Health and Environment and General Traffic Directorate, the President of Toyota in Iraq Sardar Hassan, and the company's delegation accompanying him to review the draft transport provided by the latter for the development of transport services in Baghdad, by importing a number of cars hybrid ( hybrid ) environmentally friendly as a first stage. "The government continues to support the private sector in a transparent manner, which contributes to the advancement of economic reality and support investment projects in the country on the one hand, and reducing environmental risks on the other."
He stressed "the need to take into account the great momentum witnessed by the capital and make proposals to eliminate this phenomenon during the implementation of such projects and the possibility of replacing them with old cars to reduce the environmental damage."
"The project aims at harnessing modern technologies to reduce the environmental damage caused by fuel combustion, in line with the environmental and health agreements to which Iraq has acceded, including the Paris Convention," Tiota said. Ending / 25 g
