Prime Minister Haidar al-Abadi said on Monday that Iraq faces a set of challenges, notably the abolition of the other through extremist ideology and terrorism, pointing out that the first thing we do after the liberation of cities is to open schools.
"The role of the teacher in society is an example for others to chart a better future for our people," Abadi said in a speech at the opening of the work of the Central Council of the Union of Arab Teachers held by the Iraqi Teachers' Union, according to a statement issued by his office. Of the challenges, including the abolition of the other through extremist thought and terrorism, and it is very important to eliminate this thought. "
"The first thing we do after liberating the cities is to open the schools to their utmost importance and the importance of education," he said. "We have succeeded in defeating our heroic forces in defeating terrorism militarily and liberating our lands.
"The other challenge is to challenge the corruption that is trying to steal the hope of our youth," he said. "It is shameful to use power for corruption and to spread public funds."
"The importance of justice and equity in the distribution of wealth, appointments and positions, because justice and equity is fundamental and fundamental to society and without them will not progress," Abbadi stressed on the importance of voluntary work and raising generations for this basic work.
