Kuwaiti Oil Minister: We will examine the exit strategy of the agreement to reduce production

(Encyclopedia of this Day News | Iraq News ) - Kuwait - directly: Kuwait 's oil minister said on Sunday that OPEC will consider next June before the possibility of developing a strategy for how to get out of an agreement to cut production, according to Reuters.
"There are still bimonthly meetings of the ministerial committee, which monitors the agreement, to cut production,
and a study will be put in place for the possibility of getting out of the agreement," Issam al-Marzouq said.
With regard to the agreement to import Iraqi gas, the Kuwaiti minister said that the talks revolve around the increase of imports of Iraqi gas from 50 million to 200 million cubic feet per day within 10 years.
He pointed out that there is a promise from the Iraqi minister that the quantities increase from this level.
He explained that the ports of import of gas launched by Kuwait last Thursday will end at the end of 2019 and the beginning of 2020 and enough to meet the need of the country in the next 30 years.
Marzouk predicted the oil market balance in the last quarter of 2018, and said that "prices will be at current levels."
