    The General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers announced on Sunday that the revenues of the border port of Safwan increased by 400% last year. 
    The Secretary General of the Council of Ministers Mehdi Al-Alak presided over a meeting to resolve matters related to the control of the importation of goods and goods through the country's ports in the presence of members of the Diwan Commission 39 to monitor the import of goods consisting of ministries of transport, planning, Agriculture and interior, as well as the Prime Minister's Office and the Secretariat of the Civil Crisis Management Cell. "
    "The meeting concluded with the proposal to link the border ports with the optical cable network, to consolidate the data of all the border ports to eliminate the fraud of import licenses, to eliminate the process of bypassing import licenses, to reactivate the random inspection by the Central Organization for Standardization and Quality Control and to include all imports with conformity certificates Or examination reports to eliminate the manipulations practiced by some saviors and merchants. " 
    The meeting also dealt with the problem of tax evasion, the mechanism of operating electronic systems to prevent it, and how to control the air cargo operation, stressing that "the revenues of the port of Safwan border increased by 400% last year due to the procedures followed by the Commission, and control most of the fraud and manipulation and tax evasion."
