(International: Al Furat News) The Saudi government has put its hand on the management of the "bin Laden" giant, while intends to confiscate some of its property, in the context of the "anti-corruption" in the country.
"The Saudi government is administratively controlling the giant bin Laden group at a time when some of the group's assets are being transferred to the state," the news sites said.
The Bin Laden Group, which employs more than 100,000 employees, is the largest construction company in Saudi Arabia and has implemented many mega projects on the real estate, industrial and tourism levels.
The group suffered severe financial damage a few years ago as a result of the stagnation in construction and construction. It was also negatively affected after it was excluded from state contracts following the crane incident at Makkah three years ago when 107 people were killed.
"Riyadh is keen that the group continue its activities in the service of the country's development plans," the bank and industry sources said.
