    Deputy Secretary-General of the Islamic National Accord Society, the largest opposition political societies in Bahrain, Sheikh Hussein al-Daihi, on Monday, the size of public debt in his country 40 billion dollars, noting that the economy is deteriorating.
    "The Bahraini economy is deteriorating and there is no vision to save it. There is no opinion in the economic decision, and no one has the ability to see the details of the financial situation and the distribution of wealth," he said in an interview with the Lebanese newspaper Al Akhbar.
    He added that "the tyranny in Bahrain is the one that governs the economic situation, and the regime is deafening to listening to any opinion on this matter and in any other matter," noting that "in 2002 there was a surplus in the budget of Bahrain, and after 2002 we began to enter the stage of public debt That the debt reached at the end of last year to 10.6 billion dinars, equivalent to 40 billion dollars.
    "There are expectations that the size of the public debt will rise to 13 billion dinars, or about 50 billion dollars," he said, pointing out that "the annual interest on public debt is more than half a billion annually."
    The Bahraini opposition leader pointed out that "there is a huge drop in the budget of projects in the latest budget, and there is widespread corruption and open robberies in public money, public land and government property, all and more as a result of tyranny and the absence of people's decision and rejection of political partnership." Ending / 25
