The All Iraq Agency [INA] on Wednesday received a copy of the text of the law extending the life of the House of Representatives.
The fourth amendment to the law of the elections of the Council of Representatives No. 45 of 2013:
Article 1 - First: The work of the House of Representatives for the third session on 30/6/2018
Second: Under the provisions of this law and based on Article 61 / I of the Constitution extend the work of the third session of the House of Representatives until the end of counting and manual counting and the approval of the Federal Supreme Court.
Article 2: No provision shall be made in contradiction to the provisions of this Law.
Article 3: This Law shall be implemented from the date of voting thereon.
And came in the positive reasons: Based on the requirements of the public interest and the preservation of the democratic system and in order not to lack the oversight role of the House of Representatives to the decision of the Federal Supreme Court No. [55 / Federal / 2010], which stated that the republican parliamentary system is based on three powers are the legislative and executive authorities And the absence of the work of one of these authorities indicates a defect in the cornerstone of the system of republican parliamentary system and for the manual counting and counting in all parts of Iraq, this law began.
