Qatar's countries complain to the International Court of Justice

Doha's provincial states have raised the issue of their sovereign airspace with Qatar, which is seen in the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) to the International Court of Justice on the grounds that it does not have jurisdiction over that dispute.
According to the Saudi daily Okaz, this action follows the decision of the ICAO Council to grant Qatar the opportunity to listen to its demands without supporting the demands of the four countries and taking any action.
The Council of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) considered two requests submitted by Qatar to the Council requesting the activation of Article 84 of the Chicago Convention on International Civil Aviation to settle the dispute over the interpretation and application of the Convention, Registered in Qatar and prevented from landing and taking off from the airports of the four Arab countries.
Qatar also called for the activation of the second article of Article II of the Convention to settle the dispute over the interpretation and application of the international transit services agreement against the UAE, Bahrain and Egypt.
In view of the decision of the four States to appeal the ICAO decision before the International Court of Justice, ICAO will cease to consider country claims pending the judgment of the International Court of Justice.
At the same time, the four States continue to exercise their sovereign right to close the airspace to national aircraft under international law.
The four States of this appeal are seeking a court ruling that the decision of the Council of the Organization has violated international law.
In the view of the four countries, the core of the issue is that Qatar continues to violate all the sovereign rights of the four countries, interfere in their internal affairs and support terrorism. This makes the conflict primarily a security policy, and therefore the Council's consideration of the country's demands is illegal.
