    The Ministry of Communications announced on Wednesday the opening of a 200-kka photovoltaic expansion project covering 11 stations in Baghdad, Diyala and Kut via optical cable.
    According to a ministry statement received by "Economy News", "the development and expansion of the optical transmission project (DWDM) provides the transmission of optical communication capacity of government communications as well as companies equipped for Internet service from the partners of the ministry."
    "These measures taken by the General Telecommunications Company are the nucleus for the development of the entire project to include all areas of Iraq through the use of modern technology to transfer capacities and provide multiple levels of protection to meet all technical needs and a quantum leap in the field of communications and information technology."
