    The ministerial committee formed to consider the demands of the protesters in the province of Basra on Friday that they deal seriously and understand with the demands of demonstrators in Basra under the mandate and powers granted by the Council of Ministers, including a mechanism to receive requests for appointment that were announced earlier and the provision of electricity and necessary services For maintenance and urgent.
    The Committee explained during a press conference held at the headquarters of the Secretariat of the Council of Ministers in Baghdad, the most important measures taken by the government to address the situation of lack of services in the province of Basra and the urgent responses to the demands of the demonstrators, explaining that the Committee set three time levels for the implementation of immediate demands are dealt with immediately, medium and long term does not exceed Public achievement.
    The Spokesman for the Ministry of Oil Assem Jihad said that a mechanism has been put in place to receive requests for appointment and to allocate them to heads of administrative units in Basra and each according to its administrative unit, taking into account the population density of the regions. 
    The Ministry of Electricity spokesman Musab teacher at the press conference that the Minister of Electricity Qassem Fahdawi is holding talks in the Iranian capital Tehran for the purpose of resolving the outstanding issues on the lines of electric power imported from Iran, which fed a number of areas of Iraq, including Basra.
    The spokesman of the Ministry of Interior Major General Saad Maan stabilized the security situation in the province after the visit of the Prime Minister to meet with the governor and local officials and a number of dignitaries and tribal leaders and security leaders and his emphasis on the good handling and prevent the use of violence against demonstrators and the preservation of the lives of citizens.
    Maj. Gen. Maan confirmed that the security forces will pursue all those involved in the sabotage and theft operations that hit the government and oil facilities, stressing that the demonstration is a constitutionally guaranteed right while preserving public property under Article 27 of the Constitution which stipulates the inviolability of public property and tampering with public money.
    The adviser of the Ministry of Water Resources that his ministry decided to increase the release of water towards the province of Basra to push the tongue saline towards the Shatt al-Arab, adding that the coming days will see a clear improvement in resolving the problem of water and the removal of water abuses.
    For his part, said the spokesman of the Ministry of Health Saif Al-Badr revealed that the hospitals in Basra on Thursday received ten cases of minor injuries, six of them to members of the security forces and four citizens, all of whom received treatment and discharged from hospitals.
    The members of the cell stressed the government's awareness of the causes of demonstrations to demand the rights guaranteed by the Constitution, pointing out that the current government has borne the burdens of the past years in light of the crises faced by security and in sync with global financial and economic collapses.
