The General Company of Airlines announced on Monday the start of its first journey towards the Holy Land, carrying Iraqi pilgrims this year.
The company's general manager Miran Farid said in a statement received by the Baghdad Post that the company will run four flights from different Iraqi airports operating at different times of time after the first flight from Baghdad International Airport at 4:30 am, Board 379 pilgrims.
Farid added that all the works, services and logistics for the guests of Rahman in the Karbala Hall at Baghdad International Airport have been completed by mobilizing the technical and engineering staff and employees of the company in order to make the Hajj this year a success.
Farid pointed out that another flight will start from Erbil International Airport at 9:10 am, a third flight from Sulaymaniyah International Airport at 5:10 pm and the fourth flight from Najaf airport at 7:10 pm.
