[size=45]The leader close to Maliki said, “Al-Mashhadani was not a candidate for Halbousi.”[/size]
[size=45]The leader refused to reveal his name for political reasons, and did not talk about more details about the State of Law Coalition’s position on the parliamentary presidency elections.[/size]
[size=45]Yesterday, Thursday, the Iraqi Parliament voted to choose Mahmoud Al-Mashhadani as Speaker of the Council, after he received 182 votes in the second round of voting.[/size]
