[rtl] Today, Friday, the head of the E-Governance and Communications Committee in the Baghdad Provincial Council, Muthanna Al-Azzawi, explained the importance of establishing the Governance and Communications Committee to manage the digital transformation in Baghdad Governorate, indicating that this committee is the first of its kind in the governorate.[/rtl]
[rtl]Al-Azzawi said in a statement received by “Al-Eqtisad News”, “The first work of the Governance and Communications Committee is to begin announcing the (Baghdadna) platform, which is the official government platform that will represent Baghdad Governorate, to provide all services electronically.” He stressed at the same time that “the platform will provide more than 25 real services to citizens through smart devices.”[/rtl]
[rtl]Al-Azzawi added that “the goal of the Governance and Communications Committee is to build a smart local government that provides its services to citizens via smart devices, as citizens will be able to apply for the service through a single platform, and government institutions will complete the rest of the procedures electronically.” He pointed out that “the Baghdad local government will be responsible for drawing up the general policies of the governorate, while exercising its role in planning, monitoring and legislation in sectoral institutions.”[/rtl]
[rtl]Al-Azzawi called on all those interested in the field of digital transformation and information technology, researchers, civil society organizations and the private sector, who have pioneering experience in this field, to “visit the committee and review the projects and the possibility of providing funds for the purpose of adopting and launching them.”[/rtl]
