    Baghdad Today - Translation
Amnesty International, on Saturday (November 2, 2024), warned the Iraqi government against ignoring the violations taking place inside Al-Jadaa camp.
The organization said in a report translated by "Baghdad Today" that it "issued an investigation last week about its exposure of torture and enforced disappearances being carried out inside Al-Jadaa camp in northern Iraq," stressing that "the Iraqi government must respond to the results of the investigation and stop operations inside the camp."
It is noteworthy that Al-Jadaa camp includes individuals and families who were transferred from Al-Hawl camp in Syria, where they are being rehabilitated to integrate them back into Iraqi society through the camp that was established with the aim of returning Iraqis from Al-Hawl camp in Syria to the country.
