demanded that the organization " Human Rights Watch " Argentina by exploiting a clause in its Constitution related to war crimes, to investigate the role of Saudi Arabia 's Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in the events of war Yemen and the issue Khashoggi.

Human Rights Watch said it had sent its request to Argentine Federal Judge Ariel Lejo, explaining that she had made the request to Argentina because Prince Mohammad would attend the opening of the G20 summit in Buenos Aires this weekend.

"We have provided this information to prosecutors in Argentina in the hope that they will investigate Mohammed bin Salman's involvement and responsibility for possible war crimes in Yemen as well as the torture of civilians, including journalist Jamal Khashoggi, " the agency quoted Sarah Leah Whitson, director of the Middle East and North Africa division, as saying . .

Argentine media quoted judicial sources as saying it was unlikely the authorities would take the case against the Saudi crown prince.

In 1998, Spanish judge Baltasar Garzon managed to order the arrest of former Chilean dictator Augusto Pinochet in London.
