Deputy to ask parliamentary question to the Ministry of Oil on the volume of domestic consumption

The deputy MP for the bloc of the deputy MP Alaa al-Rubaie, Sunday, that there are many questions and comments on the nature of the work of the Ministry of Oil specifically with regard to the volume of domestic consumption and the amount of processing of the Ministry of Electricity and crude oil and other petroleum products.
"By virtue of our oversight work, we have sent a letter to the Speaker of the House of Representatives to address the Minister of Oil to inquire about a lot of observations in the ministry's work and how to deal with exports and petroleum products," Rubaie said in a statement.
He explained that "the questions directed also include knowledge of the volume of total production of Iraqi refineries of oil products and how much domestic production is measured in terms of internal needs."
"We also demand to know the size of the processing of refineries of the private sector inside Iraq and the amount of processing per refinery."
He noted that " the Presidency of the Council of Representatives instructed the relevant authorities to address the Oil Ministry to answer these questions and inquiries , " explaining that " the answer to the Ministry of Oil may affect the nature of the discussions within the House of Representatives with regard to approving the budget unilateralism" .anthy 1
