US soldiers and officers involved in the invasion of Iraq said 47 percent said the US involvement in the invasion of Iraq was "worth it," compared with 43 percent who said it was not. Their views on the invasion of Afghanistan were slightly higher, with 62 per cent opposed and 28 per cent supported.

The survey, which provided answers from some 4,600 military personnel on a range of policy and military transition issues, is not a complete review of the views of the younger generation of veterans in America today.

But provides a quick overview of the challenges facing many younger veterans and the tendencies of some civilian members of the group.

More than two-thirds of the officers and soldiers involved in the invasion of Iraq surveyed said US public opinion supported veterans. All the above-mentioned civilians do not really understand the sacrifices they have made, and they are probably valuable in recruiting veterans.

President Donald Trump scored higher than the poll, with 46 percent of veterans saying they were with him, compared to only 25 percent with congressional lawmakers.

Seventy-seven percent of the respondents said the country had a lot of success.

About 65% of veterans said they knew colleagues who were veterans after 9/11 and who tried to commit suicide and 60% knew someone had lost his life.

What remains stigma is getting a stumbling block for group members who suffer from mental health problems.

In the survey, 84% of veterans said they were more likely to care for the mental health they needed. But 75% of the members said they were interested in the area, most of them veterans of Veterans Affairs.

The number of members of the group who participated in the VA, higher than average, peaked at 47% in the last survey.

Nearly 60 per cent of the survey group supported the Defense Department's decision, and 44 per cent said they supported the President's push to expand private health care options for veterans

An overwhelming majority of veterans - 83 per cent - believe cannabis should be legal for medical purposes. The issue is one of several hot topics in Congress to be impressive, as legislators look forward to acknowledgment

More than two-thirds of the veterans in the poll have a personal firearm.
