The Board of Commissioners takes a decision on party registration procedures

Issued the [url=https://www.thebaghdadpost.com/ar/Story/t/4946/%D9%85%D8%AC%D9%84%D8%B3 %D8%A7%D9%84%D9%85%D9%81%D9%88%D8%B6%D9%8A%D9%86]Board of Commissioners[/url] of the Electoral Commission, on Sunday, a statement on the party registration procedures.
The Council said in a press release that "based on the powers vested in the Commission of Commissioners in the Electoral Commission under the Commission's Law No. (11) for the year 2007 amending and the Law of Political Parties and Organizations No. (36) for the year 2015, the [url=https://www.thebaghdadpost.com/ar/Story/t/4946/%D9%85%D8%AC%D9%84%D8%B3 %D8%A7%D9%84%D9%85%D9%81%D9%88%D8%B6%D9%8A%D9%86]Board of Commissioners[/url] decided to extend the period granted to parties to complete the registration procedures until 3 / 3/2019 ".
The statement added: "The political parties that have been granted a license to establish a conditional review of the Department of political parties and organizations during the period granted by the Council, otherwise will be taken legal action against them in accordance with the provisions of the law.
The statement added: "This extension includes political parties that have not completed the registration procedures to review the Department of Political Parties and Organizations to complete their procedures, otherwise legal action will be taken against them in accordance with the law itself."
