The leader of the alliance, "National Axis", and a member of the Iraqi Council of Representatives Ali al-Sjeri on Saturday the Parliament's intention to abolish the offices of inspectors general.
Al-Sijri attributed the cancellation of the offices to "exposing a lot of violations, cases of corruption and bribery, and the waste of their work and waste of public money and blackmailing many circles and their employees with false and failed arguments aimed at trading in the name of the state."
The Iraqi Council of Representatives voted in the session held on Saturday, 9/3/2019 on the wording of a decision in principle to abolish the offices of the inspectors and the activation of the role of the prosecution.
