BAGHDAD / Nina / The MP, of the Iraqiya coalition, Haider Mulla called
on cleric Muqtada al-Sadir to take a firm stand and instruct the First
Deputy Speaker of Parliament Qusay al-Suhail not cover on the grill of
Higher Education Minister Ali al-Adeeb.

He said at a news
conference: "Adeeb's policies make us insist on activating his
questioning, which he tries to evade it in various ways so as not to
open a lot of files where he avoid being interrogated under cover of
the first deputy of the parliament that we do not find any excuse to
tackle it several months ago".

Mulla added: "Today we call on
al-Sadir, who repeatedly defended the poor and called for the
elimination of corruption, to have a firm stance of protecting Adeeb by
Suhail."

He called the parliament speaker Osama al-Nujaifi to
"end the attempts by some parties to cancel the supervision role of
Parliament and repel the Adeeb's agenda, who is trying to destroy
educational infrastructure in Iraq." / End
