    The Ministry of Health and the Environment said on Wednesday that it is coordinating with relevant authorities to review and evaluate the tobacco product tax system and impose high amounts on tobacco control measures. 
    "An extensive meeting of the Ministry of Planning was held with officials of the Ministries of Finance and Health in the presence of a team of experts from the World Health Organization (WHO) to discuss what is happening in the Ministry of Health, Related to anti-smoking measures ". 
    "The meeting decided to review and evaluate the existing tobacco product tax regime and the challenges to effective and effective implementation, as well as to identify the strengths, weaknesses and opportunities for any decision limiting the use of drugs," he added.
    "Mechanisms, ways and future plans for the development of the tax system on tobacco products will be studied to provide substantial financial and additional funding for health services in the country and to reduce the burden of non-transition diseases, as well as to ensure that the country fulfills its international obligations in implementing the WHO Framework Convention on Smoking ".
