Charges to the media for involvement in the "Commotion" to silence about the poor service of communication and the Internet

The Parliamentary Services Committee accused some bodies in the Information Authority of the Ministry of Communications of being involved in taking commissions in return for ignoring the deterioration of the reality of the telecommunications service and the Internet by companies.
"The reality of the services of telecommunications companies in Iraq is deteriorating and there is great corruption in the provision of services, especially in the center and south," said committee member Walid al-Sahlani.
He added that "the reason for the persistence of Internet companies and telecommunications poor services is the absence of the role of regulators in the State and the Ministry of Communications and the media."
He explained that "there is a great negligence in the body and the ministry and failure to provide the duty assigned to them," noting that "some of them involved in the corruption and comings of companies in exchange for condoning the poor services."
He added that "the committee has a program after the conclusion of the presidencies of the committees hosting the concerned bodies in the media and the Ministry of Communications to find out the causes of poor services."
