BAGHDAD / NINA / Maysoon al-Damalouji, the spokeswoman of Iraqiya
coalition announced that "confirmed information reports a new attempt to
assassinate Iyad Allawi, leader of the Iraqiya coalition by bombing his
home and his office in Baghdad by rocket mortars, after these parties /
did not name / had failed to assassinate him in various ways
previously."
She said in a statement issued today 16, Feb from
the Information Office of the Iraqiya that "The Iraqiya coalition
informed the security authorities about that."
Said added "Those
who want to destabilize and sow chaos in Iraq has become clear to
everyone and there are countries in the region / unnamed / seek to
dominate Iraq by imposing their policies and targeting the national
figures, who refuse to submit to their will."/ End
