countries voted on Friday, the selection of Iraq's president for the Asia-Pacific Conference on the strategic approach of the Fourth International to manage chemicals held in the Malaysian capital Kuala Lumpur.
The head of the Iraqi delegation at the conference Louay chosen in a statement received "Alsumaria News," a copy of it, that "Member States elected to Iraq to head the Asia and the Pacific in the meetings of the fourth session of the Conference of the Strategic Approach to International Management chemicals", noting that "54 countries, representing the region Voice of the optional director to take over the management of chemicals and contaminated sites in the Ministry of Environment served as regional coordinator in the General Conference. "
He selected the "presided over Iraq for Asia and the Pacific will continue to the end of next year," noting that "the work of the Conference discussed the frameworks of environmental sound management of chemicals involved in industries such as lead, adopted in the manufacture of dyes and some chemicals involved in the pharmaceutical industry that affect endocrine addition to the severely hazardous pesticide. "
It is noteworthy that the Ministry of Environment had issued earlier this year to a range of environmental controls and recommendations for the management of chemicals and mechanisms used in the import and storage of these materials and the number of database is the first in the history of Iraq.
