BAGHDAD / NINA / Iraqi House Speaker, Osama El-Nujaifi met with the U.S ambassador to Baghdad, Robert Stephen Beecroft and stressed the need to observe the elections by international community in order to ensure its transparency. "
A statement by the media Office of the House Speaker cited: "they discussed bilateral relations between the two countries and ways of strengthening them , and the most prominent developments in the Iraqi scene , first and foremost, the file of the election, as the two sides stressed the importance of conducting it on schedule and to create all conditions to ensure fairness, transparency, and appropriate situation to facilitate access for voters to the polls .
The statement added that "the two sides agreed on the need to observe the elections by the international community in order to ensure transparency." / End
