    EU High Representative for Security and Foreign Policy Federica Mugherini said on Monday that the EU would allocate 400 million euros to support reconstruction efforts in Iraq.
    "Halabousi received a written letter from Federica Mugherini, the EU's High Representative for Security and Foreign Policy, in which she confirmed that the EU will continue its support for Iraq and will remain a partner," a statement from the office of Speaker of the House of Representatives Mohamed Halboussi said.
    "It will support the reconstruction efforts of € 400 million pledged at the Iraq Reconstruction Conference in Kuwait and through the EU Civil Security Advisory Unit," the statement quoted Mugrini as saying.
    "The European Union will continue to work with the next government," Mujerini said. "The importance of continuing Iraq's international partners to play a constructive role to sustain and strengthen Iraq's support and respect for its unity, sovereignty and territorial integrity is of utmost importance for its stability and the region." Ending / 25

    Mugereeni: EU will remain a supporter and partner of Iraq

    EU High Representative for Security and Foreign Policy Federica Mugherini described the election of House Speaker Mohamed Halboussi as "a decisive step towards forming the next government."
    "The EU will continue its support for Iraq and will remain a partner, and it will support the reconstruction efforts of 400 million euros pledged during the Iraq Reconstruction Conference in Kuwait and through the EU Civil Security Advisory Unit," she said in a written address to the speaker.
