EU Commissioner Federica Mujerini praised Wednesday the sacrifices made by Iraqis to win against criminal gangs, saying the federation had allocated 400 million euros to support the humanitarian situation in Iraq.
"The European Union has allocated 400 million euros to support the humanitarian situation and development in Iraq," Mughrini said in a speech at the opening of the ministerial meeting of the Iraq reconstruction conference,
"By sacrificing the Iraqis and the soldiers, we have not been able to meet here to discuss the reconstruction of Iraq and to prepare a strategy against extremism," she said.
"The unity of Iraq is greater than the sectarian affiliations and the crises experienced by Iraq, which strengthened the stability of the country after the victory over the criminal gangs." Ending / 25 d
