The Constitution Amendment Committee sets the date of its work and the most prominent articles for change

A member of the Parliamentary Amendment Committee, Arshad Al-Salhi, said on Saturday that the committee will not meet until now because of the continuing demonstrations and waiting for the results, revealing details of the committee's work and the most prominent constitutional articles that will be changed.
Al-Salhi said in a statement to the information that "the committee did not meet so far and is waiting for the end of the demonstrations and collect details on the popular demands and will meet to discuss them all."
He added that "the committee is political and does not realize the details of the legal work," noting that "it was suggested that the selection of three experts in the law to assist each member in order to end the crisis."
Salhi said that "the most important material that will be worked on and discussed within the committee is to determine the number of members of the House of Representatives a fixed number without taking into account the increase in the number of people to reduce expenses, as well as work to cancel the provincial councils and end some paragraphs on the distribution of oil wealth and grant the region."
