Iran has asked Russia for an additional loan of two billion dollars to finance projects, Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak said on Saturday.
Novak said in a press statement that "Tehran has asked us a loan of about two billion dollars to finance projects including the construction of thermal power plants and hydroelectric power generation, railways and railway cars."
"Russia has loans allocated to Iran and they are asking us to raise the total value of five billion dollars," he added.
