    BAGHDAD -
    The budget of 2020 will include the export of all crops surplus domestic consumption outside the country to provide hard currency and support the national economy.
    Al-Hassani said in a statement received (Mawazine News), a copy of it, that "the fundamentalist approvals have been obtained to include the next budget this important paragraph, which restores the prestigious Iraqi agriculture in the light of the remarkable rise in the proportion of agricultural production, both plant and animal, and after the escalation of wheat production to ( 4750000 tons after the (2174622) tons, which is more than 100% and the production of high grade seeds to (2500000) tons and visit the areas allocated for cultivation of wheat to (649562) dunums after what was (5000) dunums in addition to the large expansion in Areas allocated for the next winter plan 2019-2020 to be (15628103) million acres.
    Al-Hassani stressed the "actions and plans implemented by the ministry to promote the agricultural sector in both plants and animals, including granting wheat marketers for their financial dues on the next day of marketing, postponing the collection of rent allowances for agricultural contracts for this year and previous years and reducing the wages of agricultural services that are collected by the Agricultural Lands Department." .
    Al-Hassani also pointed out to the establishment of a center specialized in date palm production and preparation to prepare scientific and professional studies to promote this important sector within the circle of horticulture, pointing to the balance and stability in the level of prices of agricultural and animal products such as table eggs, where the Ministry has prevented the import of a large number of these products and reflected On the encouragement of the peasants and the exercise of their agricultural work and their return to their formerly abandoned land. "

    He pointed out that `` the total imports of petroleum products for 2018 amounted to $ 2.8 billion or the equivalent of 3.3 trillion dinars, recording an increase of 15.5% compared to 2017, reaching 2.4 billion dollars, equivalent to 2.9 trillion dinars. ''
    He added, `` The volume of non-oil commodity imports for 2018 amounted to $ 34.1 billion or the equivalent of 40.5 trillion dinars, an increase of 17.4% compared to 2017, when imports reached $ 29.1 billion or the equivalent of 34.5 trillion dinars. ''
    He pointed out that the month of June occupied the highest percentage of total imports for the year 2018 by 24.2%, which amounted to $ 9 billion, equivalent to 10.6 trillion dinars, while October was the highest proportion of imports of petroleum products by 16.8%, which amounted to $ 472.1 million, equivalent to 557.9 billion dinars. "
    Iraq links with neighboring countries through 13 border ports, in addition to five air ports and five maritime ports.
