Today, Friday, the Ministry of Agriculture clarified its procedures for granting and promoting export transactions for products and crops, while confirming the facilitation of procedures for providing exporters with a certificate and safety of origin.
A spokesman for the Minister of Agriculture, Hadi al-Yasiri, said in a press statement that "according to Cabinet Resolution No. 200 of 2021, all materials contain approval for their export, especially agricultural products, except for materials prohibited by law."
Al-Yasiri added, "Therefore, the Ministry of Agriculture has begun to promote export approvals for all agricultural products, such as crops and poultry products, and forage materials and products such as hay, jet and silage, as well as all vegetable crops, which are covered by export approvals," pointing to "granting export approvals for crops such as tomatoes, eggplant, potatoes, rosemary and others." .
He stressed that "the ministry is still promoting export transactions so far," noting that "the export map includes all agricultural products, and there is no agricultural product prohibited by law from exporting, based on Cabinet Resolution No. 200 of 2021."
He pointed out that "there is a technical side related to the safety of origin and other requirements for export," noting that "the Ministry of Agriculture is facilitating the procedures for providing exporters with a certificate and safety of origin through the Prevention Department, as well as the Veterinary Department and the concerned authorities."
