, a close associate of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, attacked former Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi, accusing him of lying.
In his response to a question from his followers regarding Al-Abadi’s dialogue with a local channel, Salih Muhammad Al-Iraqi, called (Minister of Al-Sadr), said, "I lied and slandered ... I had the best guess about it ... but he resorted to having lost the second term."
Al-Abadi accused the alliance of leaders of Muqtada al-Sadr of milking Iraq and that he worked to prevent him from assuming the second term.
