    The Ministry of Industry announced, on Tuesday, that it will start exporting electrical cables, bitumen and cement after self-sufficiency has been achieved, indicating that there is a plan to export sugar during 2020 and introducing 12 new types of milk and cheese to the local market.
    "The Ministry of Industry has developed from the reality of its companies and launched many of its new products after referring many factories to investment," ministry spokesman Mortada Al-Safi told "Information".
    He added that "self-sufficiency was achieved to the need of the local market of cement, bitumen and electrical cables and we wanted to export them outside [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] ," noting that "the industry covered the Ministry of Electricity's need for electrical cables."
    He explained that "the ministry has a plan to start exporting sugar during 2020 and put 12 new types of milk and cheese within the Abu Ghraib plant this year," noting that "it was agreed with the Ministry of Electricity to exclude the Abu Ghraib plant from the programmed cutting of electricity."
