Designated Prime Minister Muhammad Allawi visits Kurdistan to obtain Kurdish support for the formation of the government

The head of the Kurdistan Regional Government's representative in Baghdad, Faris Issa, announced on Saturday that the Prime Minister-designate Muhammad Tawfiq Allawi will visit the region soon with the aim of engaging with the Kurds.
And the official website of the Kurdistan Democratic Party quoted Issa as saying that “Allawi has started negotiations with the political parties of the Kurds, Sunnis, Shiites and the movement on the street, and he asked everyone to support him to succeed in performing his duties,” stressing that “Allawi needs to support the political parties and the street as well. ”
He added that "it is scheduled to visit the Prime Minister-designate during the next two weeks, the Kurdistan region, and conduct dialogues with political parties there in order to obtain their support in forming the new Iraqi government."
