Member of the State of Law coalition, Saad Al-Muttalabi, confirmed on Friday that his coalition does not have any personal differences with Prime Minister-designate Muhammad Tawfiq Allawi, pointing out that Maliki was not with Allawi’s candidacy for the presidency so that he would not be a victim of the dominant forces on the political scene.
Al-Muttalabi said in a statement to "Information", that "the coalition of state law does not oppose Allawi's new government, and his position is directly related to the demonstrators and the authority."
He added that "the state of law is awaiting the performance of the prime minister-designate by presenting the candidate names and his government program, provided that she obtains the approval of peaceful demonstrators and meets their ambition."
And that "the state of law will reject the government of quotas and will not be supportive of it," pointing out that "a meeting took place between the head of the State of Law coalition Nuri al-Maliki and Prime Minister-designate Muhammad Allawi, during which views were exchanged between the two sides, and there is no dispute between the two parties."
He explained that "Al-Maliki was not with Allawi's candidacy for the position of Prime Minister because of the difficult situation, and in order to ensure that he is not a victim of the dominant forces on the political scene." 25 n ended
