Construction completes basic plans for the second residential city of Al-Tariq

The Ministry of Construction, Housing and Public Municipalities announced, Wednesday, the completion of the basic plans for the second residential city of Al-Tariq in Baghdad, which will provide more than 38 thousand plots of land and a vertical housing unit, indicating that it is about to provide nearly six thousand housing units in the governorates within its investment plan for the past year.
The ministry said in a statement seen by (the information), "The ministry has prepared the necessary plans to establish residential cities throughout the country by optimizing the designs and relying on modern building techniques to eliminate the housing crisis."
The ministry added, "The ministry has completed, in this regard, the basic plans for the second residential city of Al-Tariq in Abu Ghraib, near Al-Nasr and Al-Salam district in Baghdad," revealing that it will provide 38,333 plots of land and a vertical housing unit, in addition to plots of land of 200, 300, 400 and 600. Square meters".
He continued, “The city will provide all educational, commercial and service services as well as service networks and green spaces in addition to establishing open entertainment areas, while also containing many great investment opportunities.” He emphasized that “these residential cities come within the framework of the government program and the national housing initiative to prepare Designs of cities that raise the standards of urban housing. He disclosed that preparing these cities designs and implementing them came with modern planning and urban directives, which will be a qualitative shift in city planning to solve the housing crisis and provide residential lands for different groups of society and various housing patterns.
