    Economy News - Baghdad:
    The spending of the Adel Abdul Mahdi government increased during the year 2019 by about 31 trillion dinars, to record a total budget of 111.7 trillion dinars compared to the year 2018, which reached the budget of 88.8 trillion dinars. For the first time, Iraq has achieved a real fiscal deficit of 4.3 trillion dinars .  
    "The Economy News" got two documents issued by the Ministry of Finance, showing the financial budget for Iraq during the years 2018 and 2019, and the operating spending of the Iraqi state appeared in the year 2019 to 87.3 trillion dinars, after it was in the year 2018 more than 67 trillion dinars, The share of the investment budget increased to 24.4 trillion dinars, after it was 13.8 trillion dinars in 2018.
    The share of employees ’salaries increased during the year 2019 by approximately 4.8 trillion dinars, to 40.6 trillion dinars, compared to 35.8 trillion dinars in 2018, and social welfare allocations to state institutions increased to 19.6 trillion dinars after they were 15.6 trillion dinars in 2018.
    In the report, it appeared that the Ministry of Finance was the most spending, amounting to 26.6 trillion dinars, and then the Ministry of Oil at 20 trillion dinars, and then the Interior with 10.8 trillion dinars, the Ministry of Defense at 5.8 trillion dinars, and the Kurdistan region, 5.4 trillion dinars. Total revenue for Iraq was 107.5 trillion dinars, divided into 99.4 trillion dinars, oil revenues and 8 trillion dinars, non-oil revenues.
