The Parliamentary Security and Defense Committee revealed, today, Saturday, the Ministry of Defense's budget allocations, while confirming the possibility of developing air defenses.
Committee member Muhammad Hussein Abu Dhar said, "There are new allocations allocated to the Ministry of Defense, amounting to more than $ 400 million, to develop air defense, land and sea forces, and others."
He added, "Iraq cannot remain on a single weapon with the development taking place in the countries of the world," noting that "the ministry has previous and new contracts."
He pointed out that "the budget of the Ministry of Defense is good and could cover and help develop air defenses."
The President of the Republic, Barham Salih, had previously approved the federal budget for 2021
