    Information / Baghdad ..
The Kurdish Democratic Party (KDP) said on Friday that Kurdish forces "Peshmerga" will receive salaries from the Ministry of Defense after the amendments in some paragraphs of the budget.
"The Kurdish forces (Peshmerga) will receive their salaries through the Ministry of Defense, as they are part of the Iraqi security system," said MP Aram Balti in a statement.
He added that "the budget of the Ministry of Defense included salaries and allocations of the Peshmerga forces, where their salaries were included within the budget after it was within the budget of the region."
He explained that "the Kurdistan region will receive his budget of 12.67%, as stipulated in the budget law, where it was agreed to pay the salaries of staff of the region and not to be included in the political problems between Baghdad and Erbil."
"The region, according to the Ministry of Planning, must get about 14 percent of the budget according to official statistics of the ministry."
