    {Economic: Al-Furat News} Transport Minister Nasser Hussein Bandar Al-Shibli held, today, Saturday, upon his arrival in Basra governorate, at the head of a specialized technical delegation that included managers of transport formations and a number of stakeholders, a press conference during which he reviewed the objectives of the visit, in order to see the progress of work and the implementation of transport projects in the governorate Basra Faiha.

    He explained during the conference: We will go to the Shalamcheh port to open the great arena for trade exchange between the Iraqi and Iranian sides in Shalamcheh, in addition to visiting the typical land transport garage, which includes a number of large trucks, a fuel station for drivers, repair workshops and others. 
    The minister added, "It will be on the agenda of the Basra governorate visit to follow up the progress of work, implement projects, and build giant berths in the great port of Faw and a visit to the railway station."
