state of paralysis and disruption of the parliament’s sessions, for several consecutive sessions due to the lack of a quorum to hold the sessions, sparked a wave of popular and political anger and resentment. Parliament and end that state of disruption.

Al-Saadawi said in an interview with Alsumaria News, "The House of Representatives, unfortunately, is unable and unable to question any official in the Iraqi state, and it cannot hold a single session during the past months, and the situation may continue in future sessions as well. Everyone sees that there are withdrawals, absences and boycotts from some quarters." policy in order to obstruct the accountability and questioning of the executives.

Al-Saadawi added, "The parliament's presidency bears part of the responsibility as a result of its failure to use the means created by the internal system and the law to hold accountable the absent members of the parliament," noting that "there are many interrogations that have completed all the necessary procedures for questioning in terms of objective and formality, but the failure to hold sessions as a result of The refusal of some parties to the questioning issue and the refusal to attend the sessions caused it not to be activated until this moment.”

Member of Parliament Kazem Al-SayyadiHe suggested two options to reactivate the work of Parliament and end the state of obstruction it is experiencing.

Al-Sayyadi said in an interview with Alsumaria News, "Absence from sessions and the state of disruption experienced by Parliament is borne by members of the House of Representatives and the preoccupation of some of them in electoral campaigns, in addition to the Presidency of Parliament, which does not hold absentees accountable without an excuse," noting that "there is a persistence in the issue of non-attendance." The sessions are countered by the lack of strictness or penalties from the presidency."

Al-Sayyadi added, that there are many issues that require activating the role of Parliament and holding sessions, whether in the issue of amending the budget law and amending the dollar exchange rate, in addition to the issue of voided contracts and campaigns for graduate degrees and engineers, in addition to a number of long-delayed laws such as the oil and gas law, anti-corruption laws and others. One of the very important laws, not to mention the file of interrogation and hosting of many ministers and officials.

He pointed out that "there is a deliberate obstruction of the question of the interrogations, and there are consensus behind the scenes that have obstructed the interrogations, which is unacceptable," stressing "the importance of Parliament moving in one of two options that have no third party, either to dissolve itself today before tomorrow and set a date for early elections after Dissolving the parliament within a maximum period of 15 days, or postponing the decision to dissolve parliament until the end of this year to ensure the return of parliamentarians to exercise their oversight and legislative role and activate the parliament’s work again.
